A man who is always willing to say yes to any task, Dean is ready to go to any length to serve his friends, community, and even strangers.

Founded by Shyam Kumar in 2023, Life Spark International identified a critical need within nonprofits in India and Nepal, compelling Kumar to initiate positive change. The organization is committed to combating human trafficking by raising awareness, educating both individuals and non-profits about the perils associated with trafficking, and empowering them to take preventive measures and support survivors. With a global vision, Life Spark has expanded its impact, collaborating with and extending its support to countries beyond India and Nepal, amplifying the reach of its mission to address pressing issues worldwide.

Life Spark International is a non-profit organization with a profound mission—to unite individuals in collaborative problem-solving, learning, and sharing skills and knowledge to positively impact lives in need. At the heart of our endeavors are the “Force for Good” expeditions, immersive week-long experiential travel programs designed to harness the skills, knowledge, and passion of our volunteers.

During these expeditions, our volunteers work hand-in-hand with local non-profit organizations. The goal is to create sustainable solutions for the organizations to help to contribute to the development of enhanced and accessible educational systems in the region, in addition to creating more effective programs for human trafficking survivors. Beyond this, our expeditions offer volunteers a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a new culture and way of life.

The scope of our work with local nonprofits spans diverse activities, from revitalizing spaces in orphanages to educating girls about women’s health, and facilitating meaningful donations.
